This is just the beginnng and treatment hasn't even yet started. Right now, thankfully my body is healthy other than the presence of this mass, fatigue and some increasing nausea. The fatigue and nausea is going to be the most debilitating side effects to come.

This isn't a sprint, it's going to be a marathon.
If you read my treatment plan page, you might be as surprised as I am to have learned, it's 16 scheduled treatment days of chemo and immune therapy over the next 6 months, which gets me to November. The days stack up fast!
I am certainly going to need your help, it just may not be immediately.
Treatment Schedule & Calendar
The first line of treatment chemo and immune-therapy details are on a differnet page, here is what infusions and less ideal days might be expected. Some sail through chemo with normalcy, and some really struggle with the possible anemia, fatigue and nausea on Days 3, 4, 5 after the infusion noted as the three day sets here. I hope to live and work as normally as possible, but could use your help and companionship an afternoon or evening along the way! We will still have fun on my good days!

Note: I am managing the schedule instead of a calendar of auto sign-ups here, each day is going to be different, additional personal schedules, so if there is a day or task you want to provide, send me a message personally or through the contact me page here. With much gratitude and thanks! | ||

Physical Support
Cholangiocarcinoma treatment can be physically impactful and demanding. I may experience severe fatigue, anemia and a drop in immune function.
Help with Daily Tasks
Offer to help with everyday chores such as cooking, light cleaning, or grocery shopping . I won't need this assistance if I am feeling good, but will need help with the most simple things on my tough days.
Accompany To Infusion Appointments or Hard Days that Follow
Going to medical infusion days will be long, in a chair for 6-7 hours.
Accompanyment at home when there are days I can't do much for myself if the fatigue gets overwhelming.
Staying Active
Encouraging nutritious meals and gentle exercise with a light walk, if appropriate. Cooking or having healthy meals together could also be really nice
Playing a game or watching a movie together.

I love you. Grandma R
